About Freedom Chambers

By Site Administrator - Posted on 29 January 2007

Freedom Chambers is a new website dedicated to highlighting the injustice of crime and maladministration in Trinidad & Tobago. Occasionally we may expand our focus to include world events.

We encourage all who have been affected to join our shout for freedom. The journey to freedom begins at The Freedom Chambers.

The Freedom Chambers is a place where like-minded people gather to constructively work on serious injustice and infringement of civil liberties.

The site is owned and operated from the United Kingdom. Anand Ramlogan does not own or direct this site. Anand Ramlogan was the first to  supportively agree for his commentaries to be entered at this site. Other distinguished or learned persons may join us and contribute their commentaries. We may post content on behalf of such distinguished persons with their consent.

The site was originally inspired by Anand Ramlogan's courage and leadership. We hope that others are motivated and inspired by Anand Ramlogan and other distinguished persons. Ira Mathur has also joined us and has given consent to her commentaries being posted.

The site is not an advertisement of any kind  for  any services or expertise any lawyer or other professional provides.

We want to hear your voices. What you say is important to our common concern. Your thoughts matter. Eventually the site plans to create an e-newsletter that will be both electronic and printable on paper. That way your thoughts are preserved and transmitted throughout the world. We expect that those in positions of power and influence will want to take notice.

Kindly return your cheque book to a safe place. We do not want your money, and we couldn't accept it if you offered. We seek hearts and minds not money.

What are you waiting for? Get on board now by creating an account. Details you submit are not shared with the public. For absolute clarity - an 'account' has nothing to do with money. We will never ask you for a red cent.

Congratulations Anand! This is my first visit to your new site and I'm impressed. I particularly like the link with the site developer - I've never seen that before on any website. I was one of the early e-mail recipients of your Guardian articles. The e-mails stopped coming, but I continued to read your articles. It is most unusual and very refreshing to find someone in Trinidad & Tobago with integrity, standing up for 'the right thing', maintaining standards instead of mediocrity, and doing so without fear or favour. Keep up the good work. Sandra Barnes.

Congratulations are in order for this website! Annand Ramlogan has been widely recognised in T&T and regionally as a champion justice crusader for the poor and undertrodden in society. His weekly articles in the Sunday Guardian are interestingly educational on legal and social current issues. Annand's candid, no-nonsense approach to the country's social ills and law reforms are certainly the impetus needed at this time. Keep on doing good, Annand!
